Head of Collection (Czech Republic)
Our fintech company has been successfully operating in the lending and debt collection market in the Czech Republic for over 10 years and is part of a holding.

We are looking for a Head of Internal Collection to manage collection processes, improve recovery performance, and lead team development in the Czech market.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the collection strategy in the Czech Republic, with a focus on early-stage delinquencies.
  • Manage internal collection teams and coordinate with external partners.
  • Launch new collection tools and participate in process automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with risk, product, and legal teams.
  • Administer debt portfolios in cooperation with external collection agencies.
  • Create and implement new scripts and algorithms for handling overdue accounts.
  • Automate collection processes and implement AI-based solutions.
  • Regularly assess collection efficiency and KPIs.
  • Lead and oversee multiple internal teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a managerial role in debt collection or recovery.
  • Proven experience managing collection processes in European markets (experience in the Czech Republic is a strong plus).
  • Ability to build and scale teams, implement KPIs, and establish motivation systems.
  • Understanding of local legal aspects of debt collection and delinquency management.
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with reporting and BI tools.
  • English level at least B2.

Nice to have

  • Experience with automation and predictive analytics in debt collection.
  • Knowledge of the Czech language or experience managing projects with local clients.
